Srilankan military stated that it occupied the final bastion of LTTE, the dreaded area of Mullaitivu. What does mean to the region? Finally people in Srilanka can breath free. tamils who were initially supportive of LTTE's cause slowly realized that it was another person's fervour towards power. Many things which start for a good cause seems to be lost in the frenzy of power. But let me NOT draw any conclusions towards the approach of LTTE and military. Only god can remove me from the power, not britain or any one else

Couple of weeks ago I said these statements in a rally. Guess who am I? Iam running the country for the past 28 years, after some heroic efforts. In all these years of rule I hardly did anything for the economy, but I've ensured that I had all the luxuries. Now Iam 84 years old, but still Iam eager about power. Because of lot of international pressure I agree to conduct elections...My main opponent is a trade union leader and has been the strongest critic of mine for a long time...looking at the situation I predicted that it might be a landslide win for the opponent, so I went ahead and started annihilating all the supporters of the opponent party. I even scared the people who were willing to vote to the opponent member. In order to act as a mediator I invited the prime minister of the powerful country in the continent, who is the only supporter of mine and ensured that any troubles are overcome. 6 years after MBA

I am married, but am still a consultant :) Most of my friends have achieved greater heights and I do aspire to excel further. The zeal and enthusiasm haven't died, but yes age is catching up!! When I was diving into my MBA and even while doing the course, I'd think that it is so important to study, learn and contribute. (Not that I have done any of this .. but at-least that was the thought). Coming from a shy background, where lot of focus is on getting job (It sounds like getting laid ..rt ;) ) and very minimal on social skills, you shouldn't be surprised at my thoughts. Social skills are an anathema for all of us engineers and continued to remain so, in-spite of the MBA. People, who could communicate and reach out to others, were not considered among the most talented.
